Searching for something a little bit different? Even though this website is for Silk Street Swing, we’d like to draw your attention to one of our sister projects: our band of hardboiled hoofers, The Jazz Spivs and the hotsy-totsy 1920s dancers, the Silk Street Flappers!

With the new Gatsby film and the brooding and brilliant Boardwalk Empire series there has been a resurgence of interest in the Roaring Twenties. It’s no surprise to us because what better party theme can there be than a scandalous speak-easy or swanky gin joint? We are enjoying providing authentic 1920s music and dance to these events, and can appear at yours too if you contact us!

Guaranteed to liven up any occasion, the Silk Street Flappers can be booked with or without an accompanying 1920s jazz band and can come as a solo or 4-piece act. They offer a free-styling and choreographed option and are available to dance to both live band or pre-recorded track. The Silk Street Flappers will get your guests up and dancing with the glamour and fun of the 1920s.
